Are all your dresses on the website?
Most of our dresses are on the website, however we always have new arrivals in the boutique that may not have been added yet.  

Can I just call in or do I need to make an appointment?
It's always best to make an appointment, we offer appointments 7 days a week and also early evenings, however as long as we don't already have somebody booked in you are more than welcome to just pop in. Monday and Tuesday are open by appointment only. Weekends do tend to get booked up so it's always best to give us a quick call beforehand especially if you are travelling a distance, so as to avoid disappointment.

How do I book an appointment?

Where is Vintage Lane Bridal Boutique?
Our boutique is based within the grounds of The Last Drop Village Hotel in Bromley Cross, Bolton BL7 9PZ. Just behind the hotel you will see the village shops, tea room and pub. We are just next to the red post box.

Do you have car parking?
Yes there are several free car parks on site.

What is the nearest train station to the boutique?
The nearest station to us is Bromley Cross Train Station, which is approximately a 20 minute walk to our boutique, however we do offer an appointment pick up and drop off service. Just let us know when booking your appointment and one of us will arrange to pick you up at the station upon your arrival.

What is your size range?
Our vintage wedding dresses are between UK sizes 6-14 however we do usually try to stock a few dresses in size 16-18 (we can't guarantee that we always have these sizes in so it's always best to check with us first).

Does each dress come in different sizes?
No, as each dress is a unique one off vintage piece it only comes in the size that we have it in.

If I love a dress but it's not my size can it be made bigger or smaller? 
While all of our dresses can easily be altered down to be made smaller, it's a lot more difficult for a dress to be altered up in size and made bigger. It would depend on the structure of the dress in question. We are very creative and know a few tricks of the trade to try and make this happen for you but we will always advise if this can be done or not at your appointment.

Do I take away my dress on the day that I buy it?
Yes! Your dress is all yours to take away on the day, so no waiting around if you are getting married soon!

What if my dress needs alterations?
That's no problem at all. We don't have an in-house alteration service but we can recommend a great local seamstress who has many years of experience should your dress need any changes.

Can I bring people with me to my appointment?
Yes of course, although we recommend no more than three other guests as unfortunately we just don't have the space for more.

What happens at my appointment?
Firstly you and your guests will be offered a glass of bubbly. We can have a friendly chat while you browse through our collection of vintage wedding dresses and then you will try on any that you like. Our appointments are very relaxed, friendly and fun! We aim to give you and your guests the best experience possible.

Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds but we do offer a 7 day exchange or credit note policy. A credit note is valid for 12 months. If exchanging an item any difference in cost will be given in credit note form.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
Just yourself! You are welcome to bring along shoes and it's always best, if possible, to wear white or nude underwear (but it's not a necessity).

How many dresses can I try on?
We allow 2 hours for each appointment (unless otherwise stated) so in this time you are welcome to try on as many dresses as you like, there is no limit.
